I’m Teaching at the Indiana Quilt Show — September 2026

Alice Ridge teaching at the Indiana Quilt Show, September 24–26, 2026, Wayne County Fairgrounds, Richmond, Indiana

I am so excited to share that I will be teaching at The Indiana Quilt Show this September! The show runs September 24–26, 2026 at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Richmond, Indiana — and it is going to be a wonderful event with 45+ vendors, 200+ quilts on display, 25+ classes, and 10+ free lectures.

I will be teaching four of my favorite classes. Whether you are new to handwork or have been stitching for years, I would love to have you in class with me.

Classes I’m teaching

  • Mock Molas — colorful, intricate designs inspired by the traditional textile art of the Kuna people of Panama, recreated in felt and flannel.
  • Pojagi — a beautiful Korean patchwork tradition using translucent fabrics sewn with a unique flat seam technique.
  • Japanese Sashiko and Boro — traditional and contemporary Japanese needlework using simple running stitches to create stunning geometric patterns. A kit is available — see my website for details.
  • Hawaiian Applique — bold, symmetrical designs cut from a single folded piece of fabric, a technique unique to the quilting traditions of Hawaii.
